About Raymonde...

I am honoured to submit my name for nomination to represent Ward 2, serving the families and students of Morinville, Legal, Bon Accord, and the portion of Sturgeon County north of Highway 37.

Over the past 30 years, I have been blessed to serve in nearly every role in education—teacher, vice principal, principal, division principal, and most recently, Director of Early Childhood Education and Learning Support Services with Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools. Each of these roles has deepened my belief in the power of Catholic education to shape not only minds, but also hearts and communities.

Having lived in Legal for more than 50 years, I know firsthand the vital role schools play as the heart of our rural communities. As a graduate of Legal School, I have been fortunate to experience its community from many perspectives—first as a student, then as a parent, teacher, and administrator. I also served two terms as a Town of Legal Councillor, gaining valuable insight into the priorities of families and the importance of strong, local governance.

Beyond my professional life, my roots in our community run deep. I have been married to my husband, Tracy, for 33 years, and together we raised two daughters who attended Legal School and Morinville Community High School. Today, I am also blessed to be a grandmother to two wonderful grandsons. These personal experiences keep me grounded and remind me daily of the importance of building schools and communities where children and families can thrive.

I recognize the unique rural-urban configuration of Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools and I am committed to ensuring equitable representation and support for all the communities it serves. As trustee, I will work to foster inclusive, faith-filled learning environments that reflect our Catholic values, support diversity, and empower staff and students alike to thrive.

At the heart of my commitment is a belief that strong Catholic schools are built on collaboration, faith, and strategic leadership. I bring experience, integrity, and a deep love for our schools and communities—and I am ready to serve with transparency, accountability, and heart.
